Divyajyot Madhyamik Shala

Our school, Divyajyot Madhyamik Shala, is situated in Garbada, which is a part of the Dahod district. It’s a secondary school, so we deal with teenagers mostly. The days here start early and can get quite long. Garbada is a place where everyone knows each other, so we often see parents at the local market or walking by the school gates. We don't have a huge campus, but there is enough room for the classrooms and a small area where students gather during their breaks. The building is painted a simple color and we have to fix the roof every now and then after the heavy rains. Teaching here is straightforward. We follow the usual curriculum and try to make sure the students understand what they are reading. Sometimes it is noisy when the buses go by outside, but the kids are used to it by now. We don't have a lot of fancy offices or anything like that. Just some desks, chairs, and blackboards. Most of the teachers have been here for years and they know the families in the area quite well. It’s a practical place for learning. We don’t make a big fuss about things, we just open the doors every morning and get to work. Dahod is a busy district, and we are just one small part of it, helping the local kids get through their high school years. The school is a bit old now, but it still stands strong.
