Icici Bank

Our branch is over at 872G in Sector-21, Panchkula. If you’ve been to Panchkula, you know the sectors are laid out in a very specific way, and Sector-21 is a nice, settled area. We are Icici Bank, but at this location, we feel more like a neighborhood spot. People from the nearby houses come in to update their passbooks or talk about a loan they might need. It’s not one of those massive, intimidating bank buildings. It is a manageable size where we know many of our customers by their names. The day usually starts with us getting the systems ready and seeing who is waiting outside. We have our fair share of busy mornings, especially at the start of the month when everyone is trying to get their chores done. The air conditioning is always on because the Haryana heat can be quite a lot during the summer months. We have a small staff, and we all pitch in to help each other out when things get backed up. There is no corporate jargon used here; we just explain things in plain language so everyone understands what is happening with their money. It is a straightforward job. We do our best to keep things moving and make sure the paperwork is correct before we close up for the evening. It’s just a regular part of life in Sector-21. We aren't trying to be fancy, just functional for the folks living nearby.
