Civil Secretariat, Haryana ( C.M. Office)

We are part of the Civil Secretariat for Haryana, specifically working from the C.M. Office branch in Panchkula. You can find us at House No.793, which is part of the Huda Plots in Sector 19. It is a bit different working out of a house instead of a massive government complex, but it works for what we need to do here. Sector 19 is a fairly quiet area, though things get busy when people realize this is where some of the state’s business is handled. The pin code is 134113. We spend a lot of our time sorting through files and handling the day-to-day tasks that come from the main office. There is always a lot of tea drinking and paper shuffling going on. The house has been an office for a while, so it has that lived-in government feel with the metal cabinets and the wooden desks. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a bunch of security guards out front, just the regular gate. It is a practical spot for the staff to get things done without the noise of the bigger city. People from the neighborhood walk by all the time, and most of them know this is a government plot. We don’t put on any airs here. We just sit at our desks, answer the phones, and make sure the paperwork for Haryana is moving along like it should. It is steady work in a residential setting, and we’ve been based here in Panchkula for quite a long time now.
