Singapore International School

If you are driving along National Highway No. 8, you will spot Singapore International School right there near Mira Road. It’s a pretty large campus, and being so close to the highway makes it easy to find, even if the traffic can be a bit much at peak hours. We have been operating here for several years now, providing a place for students to study in a setting that feels a bit more open than the crowded city center. The school has big classrooms and plenty of space for activities, though we are always busy trying to keep the dust from the highway off the windows. We get students from all over the place, and it’s interesting to see how they all get along. The buildings are modern, but we try to keep a friendly atmosphere so it doesn’t feel too cold or institutional. Our staff is usually running around making sure the buses are on time and the lunches are ready. It takes a lot of effort to keep a place this size running smoothly every single day. We use the Post Mira Road address for all our mail, and we’re quite a fixture in this neighborhood now. Sometimes the noise from the trucks on the highway is a bit loud, but inside the classrooms, it stays quiet enough for everyone to focus on their work. We just go about our business of teaching and making sure the kids have what they need for their lessons. It’s a big job, but we like being here.
