Oberoi Trident Hotel

We are based out of Building 202 in the Ravi Group Rattan 5 complex. It’s right near the 15 number last bus stop in Mira Road East. It’s quite a distance from the actual Oberoi Trident Hotel buildings that everyone knows in the main city. Here in this part of Mumbai, things move a bit slower. Our office is just a regular unit in the building. We have some desks, a few cupboards for storage, and a whole lot of binders. The bus stop outside is always crowded with people, so there’s a lot of noise throughout the day. We can hear the buses pulling in and out every few minutes. It’s not a polished environment. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers and we have to remind the building manager to fix it. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff here. It’s mostly just data entry and making phone calls. We don’t have a view of the ocean or anything nice like that. Just the street and the other buildings in the complex. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually when we all take a break. It’s a basic setup but it works for what we do. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just come in, do the work, and head home to our families at night. It’s just a normal job in Maharashtra 401107. We’ve been here for a couple of years now and most of us have our own routines. Someone always brings in snacks to share in the late afternoon. It's those little things that help us get through the busier weeks.
