Maomi Farmers Producer Company Limited is located on the Kelwa-Saphale Road in Palghar. We are right inside Yashwant Rice Mill 1 at Survey No. 652. This is not a quiet office. It is a place with the sound of machinery and the smell of raw rice everywhere. We are a company made up of farmers from around the Palghar and Thane districts. We thought it was a good idea to base ourselves at the mill because that is where the work happens. We don't have any polished marketing or a team of salesmen. We are just the people who grow the crops. We handle the business side of things right here among the bags of grain. It is a bit dusty and noisy, but it feels right for what we do. We don't have a big mission statement or any corporate fluff. We just want to make sure the rice and other things we grow get handled properly so we can make a decent living. Being on the Kelwa-Saphale Road means we see a lot of people coming and going. It’s a busy life. We are just local folks who know the land and the local conditions. Sometimes the machines break or the harvest is light, but we just keep going. If you come by the mill, you will see us working. We are just regular people trying to do right by our fellow farmers.
