Anuvira Producer Company Limited

Our office is over at Sawant Paradies, specifically Flat No B/9 in Wing F. It’s right on Tandulwadi Road, near Kalpana Naga. It’s a busy area and the noise from the road is always there in the background while we work. Anuvira Producer Company Limited is basically us trying to organize the local producers into something more solid. We spend a lot of time in this small flat, sorting through documents and talking to people who come by. The building is okay, but the stairs can be a bit much when we are carrying boxes of samples. We are close to the main part of town, which makes it easier for folks to find us when they need to drop off paperwork. It’s not a corporate environment at all; we have a tea kettle in the corner that’s always going and too many chairs for the space we have. We started this because we saw a lot of producers struggling to get their stuff to market. We aren't experts in everything, but we know the people on Tandulwadi Road and the surrounding areas. Sometimes we get frustrated with the bureaucracy, but then someone stops by with good news and it feels worth it. We just keep plugging away at it every day, making sure the farmers we work with have some kind of support. It’s a simple operation, run by people who actually care about what happens in the fields.
