Laxmi Engineering

You can find Laxmi Engineering over at Unit No. 11 in the Sagar Industrial Estate. We are in Building F-5, which is right near Quality Hardware in Dhumar Nagar. It is out in Waliv, Vasai East. Our shop floor is always full of machines and scraps of metal. It’s a busy industrial area, so there is always the sound of trucks and other shops working nearby. We have been in this unit for quite a while now. We do engineering work, mostly making parts or fixing things that broke down for other businesses. It’s greasy, heavy work and our hands are rarely clean. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't running a machine at the moment. We try to keep our schedules on track, though sometimes things take longer than we thought they would. That is just how engineering goes. The Thane heat can be tough in the afternoons, but we have a good rhythm going. People know us because we’ve been around Waliv for years. We aren't interested in being a giant company. We just like solving mechanical problems and making sure the parts we send out actually fit. It’s a simple life here in the industrial estate, and we are happy with that. We just do our bit and go home. There is always a pile of steel waiting for us every morning when we open the shutter to start the work.
