Falegaon Seva Nidhi Limited

Our office is at House Number 390 in the village of Falegaon. If you know the Kalyan area in Thane, you’ll find us easily enough without much trouble. We’ve been here in this village for quite some time now, working under the name Falegaon Seva Nidhi Limited. It’s a local place run for local people. Most of the folks who come through our doors are people we see at the market or just walking around the neighborhood. It’s not like those big, cold offices you see in Mumbai. We keep things simple and focus on what the villagers actually need from us. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but that’s just life in Thane. We handle the daily savings and all the small financial bits that come up for families here. Being in a village like Falegaon means everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. You can’t really hide behind a big desk in a place like this. We take the work seriously but keep the atmosphere pretty relaxed and friendly. If someone has a question about their small account, they just walk in and ask. There’s no need for an appointment or any of that formal stuff. We use the space we have as best we can and try to keep the paperwork moving along. It’s a lot of writing and checking old ledgers, but it keeps us busy through the week.
