Our office is out in Palghar, specifically at Valan Post on Mahim Road. We are quite easy to spot because we are right near the cement pipe company. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, which makes it a quieter place to work. We spend our time talking to local people about their money and how they can save a little bit for the future. We don't use a lot of big financial words that nobody understands. Instead, we just sit down at the desk and look at the numbers together. The office is a simple room with a few filing cabinets and a couple of fans to keep the air moving on hot days. Many of our visitors are neighbors or people from the surrounding villages who have known us for years. We talk about their families and their farms while we go over their papers. It is a very relaxed atmosphere compared to a big bank in the city. Sometimes the dust from the road comes in, but we just wipe off the desks and keep going. We like being in this part of Palghar because it feels like home. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here by the cement pipe company and they stop by when they need some help with their investments. It is a slow and steady kind of life, and that suits us just fine.
