Asset Management.

We are based out in Aamby Valley City, which is up in the hills near Lonavla. Most people think of this place for vacations, but for us at Asset Management, it is where we do our daily rounds. The drive up the ghats can be a bit much during the monsoon when the clouds sit right on the road, but you get used to it after a while. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It's just a place where we keep the records and handle the maintenance schedules for the properties around here. We spend a lot of our time checking on things, making sure the pipes aren't leaking and the grounds are kept up. It gets really quiet on the weekdays when the tourists are gone. We usually bring our own lunch because the cafes can be a walk away. There is a lot of paperwork involved in managing these assets, more than you would think. We’ve been here at this address for a good few years now. Sometimes the internet goes out when the wind picks up, so we just focus on the physical files then. It is a steady kind of job. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there, we just want to make sure the work is done right for the people who trust us with their stuff. It’s a long day, especially when you factor in the commute back down to the main town.
