Chirag Engineering Works

We've been here in Bhayander East at 12 A for a long time now. Most people around the neighborhood know the sound of our machines running throughout the day. Chirag Engineering Works isn't a fancy place with a big front desk or anything. It’s mostly just us working with metal and fixing parts that people bring in. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy when we have a lot of projects going on, but that’s just how it is when you’re actually making things. We handle various engineering jobs, some small and some that take a few days to get right. It can get pretty hot in the summer with the lathes running, but we just keep at it. My father started this and now I help run things along with a couple of guys from the area. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork because the real work happens at the bench. If you walk past the 12 A block, you’ll probably see us out front moving materials around. We try to keep things simple here. There’s no big sales team or anything like that, just hands-on work. Most of our tools have been with us for years and they still work just fine. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get it finished so the customer can pick it up. It’s a busy life but it feels good to see something finished at the end of the day.
