Ashirwad

Living and working around Mira Road Nagardas Road 2 keeps us pretty busy. Ashirwad is just our little place where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a neighborhood where everyone seems to be going somewhere else, but they stop here for a minute. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. We’ve got some shelves and the usual stuff you’d expect. Some mornings it’s a bit of a struggle to get everything opened up on time, especially if the traffic on Nagardas Road is bad. We see the same faces every day, mostly neighbors or people catching the bus. It’s nice when someone remembers your name. We don't have a big corporate office or a boss in a suit. It’s just us behind the counter. Sometimes we run out of things and have to tell people to come back later. That’s just how it goes in a small shop. We try to keep it simple and straightforward. No one here is trying to be famous. We just want to make sure the person walking in gets what they need without a lot of fuss. The air is always a bit dusty from the road, and the noise never really stops until late at night. We close up when the sun goes down and get ready for the next day. It’s a quiet life in a loud city. We’ve been here long enough that it feels like home.
