Ak Engineering Tools

We’ve been here at Gala No. 2 in Ekta Nagar for a while now. It’s right on Sativali Road, just across from the Mitul Industrial Estate in Vasai East. Being in an industrial zone like this means there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around Palghar. We deal with engineering tools, which mostly means keeping stock of things people need for their machines and workshops. It’s a busy spot. Some days the dust from the road gets into everything, but that’s just how it is working here. We spend most of our time organizing the shelves or checking what came in from the suppliers. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning everywhere. It’s a practical workspace where we get things done. People stop by when they are looking for specific parts or just need to see what we have on hand. The weather gets pretty humid in this part of Vasai, so we keep the fans going all day. Usually, someone is making tea around eleven and that's when things slow down for a minute. Most of our neighbors are doing the same kind of work, so we all know each other. If a customer needs something we don't have, we usually know who down the road might have it. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, just handling tools and making sure the inventory is right. We don't have a big marketing team, it's just us here every day.
