Uttari Koel Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group, Uttari Koel Farmer Producer Company Limited, is based out of Palamu. We use Sanjay Singh’s house, which is House Number 18 in Kanaudi. It’s a small village area in Navajaipur. Being a farmer producer company means we are basically a bunch of local guys trying to work together instead of everyone just doing their own thing. It makes it easier when we have to buy stuff or sell what we grow. Sanjay’s place is where we all gather to talk about the weather and what’s happening with the crops. The address is 822123 if you’re looking at a map, but mostly people around here just know the house in Kanaudi. It’s a quiet place, surrounded by the fields we work in. We don’t have fancy equipment in the office, just the basics to keep our books straight. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit on the porch and talk. It’s a practical way to run things. We aren't trying to be some huge company; we just want to make sure the farmers in this part of Palamu get a fair shake. The name Uttari Koel comes from the river, which is important to everyone around here. We just try to do our work, keep our heads down, and help each other out whenever the season gets tough or the rain doesn't show up like it’s supposed to.
