Dandaprakhand Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our place is located in Chhapardaga, which is part of the Danda Garhwa area, not too far from Bisrampur. We’ve been operating here for a while, mostly dealing with the farming needs of the local community. Jharkhand is a tough place for agriculture sometimes, especially in the Garhwa district where the water can be scarce. We decided to come together as a producer company to see if we could make things a little easier on ourselves. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a basic building in the village where we keep our records and meet up. Most days you'll find us out in the fields or talking to the other farmers about what needs to be planted next. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the crops get sold. The paperwork side of things is a bit of a struggle for us sometimes, and we'd much rather be outside working than sitting at a desk. We know everyone in the Bhikhahi area, so news travels fast here. If there’s a problem with a tractor or a seed shipment, we all hear about it pretty quick. It’s just a normal, local life for us. We just keep moving forward, hoping the next harvest is better than the last one we had.
