Yedai Producer Company Limited

Yedai Producer Company Limited is located over in Andora village, which is in the Kallamb taluka of Osmanabad. We are based at Sandip Manik Tambare’s place, G No. 125. Being in a rural part of Osmanabad means we are surrounded by fields and people who know exactly how hard farming can be. We set this up because we needed a better way to manage our collective produce and get a decent price for what we grow. It’s not a fancy operation by any means. We have a small space where we keep our records and meet up to talk about the next season. Some days are slow, and other days it feels like there isn't enough time to get everything done. We deal with the usual stuff like logistics and making sure everyone is on the same page. The rain here can be unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time worrying about that. We aren't looking to grow into some huge company; we just want to make sure the work we do in the fields pays off. It's a community thing, really. People stop by to chat or ask for advice, and we just try to help out where we can. The office is just a regular spot in the village where we handle the business side of things so the farmers can focus on the dirt. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and talking about the market rates, which is just part of the daily routine for us here in Andora. We’re just regular folks trying to make it.
