Rasp Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in Osmanabad, specifically in Terkheda. Raosaheb Bhagavan Salve started this with some other folks from the village. It’s a quiet place in Kallamb. We don't have much of a fancy office, just a small spot where we meet to figure out what to do with the crops. Most of us have been farming here for years, dealing with the rain or lack of it. It’s hard work, but we decided to come together as a group because it's better than trying to do everything alone. Sometimes we spend hours just talking about seed prices or how to get the tractor fixed. It isn't always smooth sailing, and we make mistakes with the paperwork sometimes, but we're learning. The soil around here is okay if you treat it right. We mostly focus on what the local farmers need, like getting things to the market without too much trouble. It's just a bunch of neighbors trying to make a living. You can usually find someone at the place in Terkheda during the day, unless it's harvest time, then everyone is out in the fields. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us, the land, and the work that needs doing. It feels right to be doing this for our own community here in the district. We don't want anything fancy, just a fair chance.
