We are over at Jadhavwadi, specifically at Bhima Bapurao Jadhav's place on survey number 618. Vikasdhara Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is run by a group of us who have been farming in the Osmanabad area for a long time. It is a practical setup, nothing too fancy. We spend most of our time out in the fields, but when the business side of things needs doing, we gather at the spot near Jadhavwadi. Dealing with crops in this part of Maharashtra is a lot of work, and having this company helps us keep things organized. We aren't really office people, so you will usually find us covered in dust or talking about the latest harvest. We started this to help each other out with getting what we need for the farms and selling what we grow. It is a small community here in Tal-Osmanabad, and everyone knows everyone else. We mostly focus on the day-to-day tasks like checking the water or seeing how the pests are doing. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we help each other through it. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It is just real people from the village trying to make a living off the land. We have seen the seasons change many times and we know that working together is the only way to stay afloat.
