You can find us on the Jalna Beed Road in Ambad, at House Number 42/2. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks and tractors going by all day long. Ts Shinde Farmer Producer Company was put together by a bunch of us who live and work around here. We know the roads, we know the fields, and we definitely know the problems farmers face in this part of Jalna. We focus on getting our produce out to where it needs to go without losing too much value along the way. It’s a tough business. You have to be quick and you have to know people. We don't use big words or pretend to be something we’re not. We are just farmers. Some days we are in the office handling the paperwork, and other days we are out in the dirt helping with the harvest. It’s a mix of everything. We started this because we wanted to have a voice in how our stuff is sold. Before, we just took whatever price was offered. Now, as a company, we can negotiate a bit better. It’s not always a win, but it’s a start. We share our experiences about what worked last year and what didn't. It’s just common sense, really. We’re just local people trying to make the best of what we have on this stretch of the Jalna Beed Road.
