Subabai Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Samudrawani in the Osmanabad area. We operate out of the space provided by Mr. Bharat Madhappa Gavane. It’s a local setup, very much rooted in the village life we have here. We don't have a big corporate sign or a paved parking lot. It’s just a place where farmers come to talk about their crops and figure out how to sell them. We started this because we saw that working alone wasn't getting us very far. Now, we have a way to talk to buyers as a group. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we have long arguments about the best way to do things. That’s just part of being a community business. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to get a decent price for the hard work we put into the soil. The weather in Osmanabad can be tough, so we have to look out for each other. Most people know Bharat, so finding us isn't too hard if you're from around here. We spend our days dealing with the daily realities of farming. There are no polished speeches here, just honest talk about agriculture and how to keep the farms going for the next year. We’re just regular folks doing our best in Samudrawani.
