Down in Osmanabad, specifically at Kakde Plot in Sambhaji Nagar, you will find our small team at Shree Siddhivinayak Foodtech Farmerproducer Company Limited. We started this because we saw so much good food being grown around here that just wasn't being used the right way. Our address is 27/2718, and it’s basically just a regular house where we’ve set things up to handle our business. We aren't a big factory or anything like that yet. It’s mostly just us trying to figure out the best way to process what we grow so it lasts longer and sells better. Osmanabad can be a tough place for farming when the weather doesn't behave, but having this food tech side of things gives us a bit more to lean on. We spend a lot of time discussing machines and packaging, which was all new to us a couple of years ago. It’s a lot of trial and error. Sometimes a machine breaks down or a shipment is late, and we just have to sit there and fix it ourselves. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and we're probably drinking tea and looking at some spreadsheets or bags of grain. It’s a simple operation run by people who actually know what it’s like to have dirt under their fingernails. We are just trying to build something that lasts for the folks living in Sambhaji Nagar.
