Shita Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is located right in Paundul, specifically at house 347 near Rukhminbai Sahebrao Khedkar's place. This is in the Shirur Kasar area, which is a place where everyone knows everyone else. We didn’t start this to get famous or anything like that. It was more about survival and making sure our small farms in Paundul could actually keep going. Farming is a gamble, and we figured having a group like this makes the odds a bit better. We mostly deal with the stuff we grow right here on our own patches of land. You won't find any fancy offices or people in suits here. We are usually out in the fields or meeting up on someone’s porch to figure out the next steps. It gets pretty quiet out here, but when it’s harvest time, the whole place moves. We named it Shita Agro because it felt right for our community. We handle the seeds, the fertilizer, and the selling ourselves now. It takes a lot of effort to keep things running, but it's worth it to see the village thrive. We are just regular people from Shirur Kasar trying to make a living off the land we’ve lived on our whole lives. That’s really all there is to it. Actually, being part of a group helps when we need to share tools or get advice on which crops might do better this year. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
