Sant Gorakumbhar Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in Ter. That is a small village area in Osmanabad. We are a group of farmers who decided to come together. Most of us have been farming this land for our whole lives. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning or fancy chairs. Most of our meetings happen at the post office or just out in the fields where we work. We registered the company to help us manage our crops better. In Ter, everyone knows each other, so we don't need to advertise. We deal with whatever is in season, like pulses or grains. Life here is tied to the rain and the soil. Some years are good and some are very tough. We aren't trying to build an empire. We just want to make sure we can sell our produce for a fair price. It involves a lot of talking and sorting out paperwork which can be boring. We have a lot of members now, all local farmers from around Osmanabad. It’s a lot of responsibility but we just take it one day at a time. The office is just a simple room where we keep our ledgers. We don't have a website or a big staff. It is just us doing what we know how to do. We hope to keep the company going for the next generation of farmers here. This village is our home and this company is part of it.
