Our company is situated in Shiradhone, which is in the Kallam taluka of the Osmanabad district. We operate out of Premkishor Mundada’s place. It’s a local operation, born out of the need for farmers in this part of Osmanabad to have a bit more say in how their goods are sold. We don't have a big corporate office in the city. Our base is right here in the heart of the farming community. The work involves a lot of coordination between different families and small farms. We look at the seasonal crops and try to figure out the best timing for everything. It's mostly about the day-to-day grind of agriculture. Sometimes we meet under a tree or in the small office space to talk about the latest prices. There's a lot of trust involved because we’ve all known each other for years. We aren't trying to sell you anything fancy. We just handle the agricultural produce that comes from our own fields. The roads in Kallam can be dusty, and the work is often tiring, but having the company makes it feel like we have a bit more control. We keep our records by hand mostly. It’s a simple, honest setup. People know they can come to Premkishor’s place if they need to talk about the harvest. We just take things one season at a time and try to keep the business running smoothly for everyone.
