We are over here in Makani, which is part of Lohara in the Osmanabad district. You can find us at Shri Nagorao Patrike’s place. It is a quiet spot, mostly just fields and local families trying to get by with what the land gives us. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the soil pretty well. We started Makanaai Agro Producer Company Limited because it seemed like the right thing to do for the people in the village. There is no big office or anything fancy like that. Just a group of us sitting around, talking about seeds, the rain, and how to get a decent price for the harvest. Some days the sun is really hot and the work gets slow, but that is just how it is in this part of Maharashtra. We don't have any big speeches or corporate plans. It is more about making sure the crops are handled right after we pick them. If you come by the post office area, you might see some of us working or just taking a break.
