Mahurgad Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based at House Number 1084 in Maahur. Most people know the area because of the temple and the hills, but for us, it’s just home. Mahurgad Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us who live nearby and grow similar crops. We used the house as an office because it was easier than building something new. Maahur is a quiet place until the festival times, and we like it that way. Being farmers, we don't have much use for fancy talk or big promises. We just want to make sure our produce gets to the market without getting squeezed on the price. Some days we are just sitting on the porch at H.No 1084, looking over the paperwork or waiting for a truck to arrive. It’s a slow process, building a company from the ground up. We’ve had some learning curves, like figuring out the legal stuff and the taxes, but we are getting the hang of it. The folks around here trust us because they see us in the fields every day. We aren't some distant corporation. We are the same people you see at the store or the bus stop. If the harvest is thin, we all feel it. If it’s a bumper crop, we celebrate together. That’s the whole point of being a farmer producer group in a place like Maahur.
