Our setup is on Moha Road in Kallam, which is in the Osmanabad district. We operate out of House No. 3/141. Hindtech is focused on seeds and some of the biotech aspects of farming, but we keep things very practical. We aren't a big research lab; we’re more of a local hub where we try to find the best seeds for this specific climate. Osmanabad can be very dry, so picking the right variety of crop is the difference between a good year and a total loss. Our building isn't anything special and it needs a bit of paint, but it works for what we need. We spend our days meeting with farmers and looking at what’s growing in the nearby fields. We have a small team, and we all do a bit of everything, whether it’s clerical work or hauling bags of seeds. We don't make big, fancy claims. We just test things out and see what the results are. It’s a lot of trial and error, and sometimes we don’t get the results we hoped for. We try to be honest with the people we work with about what will grow and what won't. It’s a quiet kind of work, but we think it’s important for the area. We’re just here in Kallam, trying to make the farming life a little more predictable for everyone involved.
