Growersfield Farmer Producer Company

Our place is located at House Number 1896/2 in Murum, which is part of the Omerga taluka in Osmanabad. We go by Growersfield Farmer Producer Company. It sounds a bit formal, but we are just local farmers. Most of us have been in Murum for generations. The land here in Osmanabad can be dry, so we have to be careful about how we farm. We formed this group to help each other with things like seeds and getting our harvest to the market. It’s not a fancy operation by any means. Our office is just a room where we keep our tools and some files. We spend most of our time outside anyway. The weather is a constant worry, but that's just part of the job. We don't use any slick marketing talk. We’re just honest people trying to make a living from the earth. Sometimes we disagree on how to do things, but we always figure it out in the end. Murum is a tight-knit community, and we try to look out for one another. We aren't looking to become some huge corporation. We just want to keep the farms running and make sure our families are taken care of. It’s a lot of manual labor and long days under the sun, but we wouldn't have it any other way. That’s just how it is for us.
