Chandrachhaya Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Fulsawagi, which is part of the Mahagoan area. We use Chandrashekhar Bhaskwar’s place as our main spot for meeting and getting things done. We are a group of local farmers who felt that working together was the only way to really get ahead. Farming in Fulsawagi has its own set of challenges, from the soil quality to the way the markets fluctuate. By forming this company, we can share our tools, our knowledge, and our crops. It’s a very local thing. We all know each other from around the village. When you come by, you won’t see a front desk or anything like that. It is just a house where we keep our records and talk about the harvest. We try to help the smaller farmers in our group get a better deal when it’s time to sell. It's mostly about making sure everyone gets a fair share for the hard work they put into the dirt. We deal with all sorts of crops depending on the season. Sometimes things go well, and sometimes we have to figure out how to handle a bad year. That’s just the way life is out here. We don't pretend to be something we aren't. We are just a bunch of neighbors in Mahagoan looking out for each other and our farms. We do the best we can with what we have and keep moving forward together.
