Vishal Saini

This is Vishal Saini. My place is over at 83 Engineers Enclave in Pitam Pura. If you know New Delhi, you know this area gets pretty packed. It’s a decent neighborhood, mostly quiet during the day when everyone is off at work, but the evenings get lively. The address is 83, and it’s a standard spot, nothing that stands out from the street. I’ve spent a lot of years here. The office is basically a couple of rooms where we keep our stuff. It’s a bit cramped if more than three people are inside at once, but it works for what we do. We don’t have those glass partitions or fancy coffee machines. Usually, we just make a pot of tea in the morning and that lasts us. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there is always some task or another that needs attention first. Living and working in Pitam Pura means you get used to the noise and the pace. I usually walk to the local market if I need anything. It’s just a practical way to live. We handle the daily business as it comes. No big strategy meetings or anything like that, just looking at what needs to be finished today and getting to it. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours, and we’ve been here long enough that the postman doesn't even need to look at the house number anymore.
