Travelport

If you head over to Rohini in Delhi, specifically Sector 22, you’ll find us at H.No.- 62 in Pocket- 1. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s got that neighborhood feel where everyone kind of knows what everyone else is doing. Travelport is what we call the business, and it’s basically where we sit and figure out travel plans for people. It’s not a huge office with a lobby or anything. It’s more of a walk-in kind of place where the phone is always ringing. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking to airlines or hotels. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait around, which gives us time to chat and have another cup of tea. We’ve been in this part of Delhi for a good bit now. Rohini is big, but Sector 22 has its own pace. We handle tickets and bookings and all that regular stuff. People come in with questions about where to go or how to get there, and we just try to give them the straight answers. There aren't any flashy posters or big advertisements on the walls here. It’s just desks, a few chairs for visitors, and a lot of paper. We like being tucked away in the pocket instead of on a main highway. It makes things feel a bit more personal, like you’re just visiting a neighbor to talk about a trip you want to take.
