Systems India is located at Wz-40/3 in Phool Bagh, right near the Rampura Mor on Rohtak Road. If you’ve ever been on Rohtak Road, you know the traffic is something else. There’s a constant stream of cars and buses going by. Our building is a bit of a climb up some narrow stairs. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for the sign near the tea stall. Inside, we have a few rooms filled with computers and wires. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, with cables running along the floor and stacks of boxes in the corners. We aren't much for tidiness when we are in the middle of a project. We spend most of our time looking at screens or fixing hardware. The windows look out over the road, so we see all the madness below while we work. It’s a small team here. We’ve known each other for a long time, so we don't need to be formal. We just get on with it. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit and wait or chat until it comes back. It’s not a high-tech looking lab; it’s just a workspace where we try to solve problems. We don't have a receptionist, so if the door knocks, whoever is closest goes to answer it. It's a simple way to run things, but it works for us.
