Our office is on the ground floor, units 130-131, in Pocket 2 of Sector-25, Rohini. It is a pretty convenient location because we do not have to climb any stairs with our heavy equipment. We deal with information solutions, which mostly means we spend our long days staring at computer screens and writing code or fixing data problems for clients. The space is split into two rooms. One is full of servers and computers that hum and whir all day long. The other room has our desks and a small area where we sit to eat our lunch. We have got a lot of wires running along the floor, so we always have to be careful not to trip when we walk around. It is not a polished tech hub like you see in the movies or in the big city centers. It is just a place in Rohini where we work on software and help local businesses with their IT needs. The lighting is a bit bright, but it helps us stay awake during those long nights of work. We get a lot of dust coming in from the street, so we have to wipe down the monitors every morning before we start. We are a small group, and we have known each other for a long time. There is not much hierarchy here. We all just pitch in when a project is due. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play cricket outside our window, and we stop to watch for a minute before getting back to the keyboard.
