Swastik Ice

We run Swastik Ice out of Sector 23 in Rohini, specifically at 123-A Pootskalan. It’s mostly just a warehouse setting where we handle ice. It gets pretty wet and cold inside, which I guess is the point. We deal with a lot of local vendors and people needing cooling for events or their shops. The trucks come in early, usually before the sun is even up, to load up. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. My hands are usually freezing by noon. We’ve been in this part of Rohini for a bit now. The space at 123-A isn't anything special to look at, just concrete and cooling units. We keep the equipment running day and night because you can't really let things melt. If the power goes out, it's a real headache. We aren't some fancy office. It’s a workspace for people who don't mind getting their boots wet. Most of our neighbors know us because of the noise from the compressors. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it gets a bit chaotic with the deliveries. That’s just how the ice business goes in a place like Pootskalan. We stay busy, especially during the summer months when everyone is desperate for a bit of cold. Swastik Ice is just a basic operation, really. We show up, do the work, and go home. No frills, just plenty of ice blocks and cubes moving through the door every single day.
