You can find us in New Delhi, specifically in the Rani Bagh area. We are on the top floor of WZ 174 in Srinagar, Gali No 2. Being on the top floor means a lot of stairs, but it also gives us a bit of a break from the noise on the street. Gali No 2 is usually pretty busy with people and scooters passing by all day. Our space is just a regular Delhi office layout. It’s where Oikos India Pvt Ltd operates from. We’ve got our computers and some samples lying around. It gets quite warm in the summers since we are right under the roof, so the fans are always going. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a functional workspace where we manage our day-to-day business. People come by to talk about orders or just to drop off papers. We’ve been in this spot for some time and the locals know us. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get deliveries in, but we manage to move things up the stairs somehow. The area is packed with small businesses just like ours. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the wall, just calendars and maybe a few notes taped to the desks. It’s a real place where real work happens. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the workload. It’s just a typical small business life in a busy Delhi neighborhood.
