Compass Group

Compass Group works out of 109-A, Pocket B-3 on Lawrence Road. If you know that part of North Delhi, you know it’s mostly industrial and warehouses. It’s not the kind of place you go for a stroll, but it’s where a lot of real work happens. Our space is basically just an office in one of the blocks. We’ve got some desks, a couple of computers, and a small area to sit and eat lunch. It gets pretty loud outside with the trucks moving in and out of Lawrence Road, especially in the mornings. We’ve gotten used to the noise over time. The building itself is quite old, but it stays cool enough in the shade. We aren’t really into the whole corporate image thing here. We just wear what’s comfortable and get through the pile of paperwork we have every week. There’s a tea stall at the corner where most of us go around four o'clock to stretch our legs. It’s a good way to see what else is happening in the pocket. We’ve been in this specific spot for quite a while, so the postman knows exactly where to leave our mail. It’s a simple life. We don’t have any big slogans on the walls. It’s just us doing what we need to do in this little corner of Delhi 35. It might not look like much from the outside, but we manage to stay busy enough with all the different things that come across our desks every day.
