Surjit Mechanical Works

Sawan Park is a decent, quiet area if you know the right corners to look in. You can find Surjit Mechanical Works located at K-12 in Ashok Vihar Phase III. We have occupied this building for quite some time now. The morning sun usually hits the front of the shop quite early, which is when we start our day. We like to keep the doors wide open to get a bit of a breeze going through the workspace. Sawan Park actually has a good number of trees, which helps a lot when the summer heat gets intense. While Ashok Vihar is a large area, Phase III has more of a close-knit community feel to it. We see the same people walking by every morning. Inside the shop, things are mostly kept in various piles. It might not look like the most organized place to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The name Surjit Mechanical Works is painted on the front wall, though the paint has started to peel away at the edges over the years. We aren't too concerned about how the place looks to be honest. Our main focus is just getting through the daily tasks. The concrete floor has some old oil stains that have been there forever. It is a solid, honest way to spend the day. We are happy to stay here at K-12. We just keep the gate open and wait for the day to start. It is a simple routine.
