Eveready Tools Emporium

Rani Bagh is one of those places where there is always something happening. Our shop, Eveready Tools Emporium, is at Wz-1489, right in the thick of things near Pitam Pura. We call it an emporium, but really it’s just a place filled to the ceiling with every kind of tool you might need. Sometimes it feels like we have too much stuff in such a small space, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. People come in looking for specific bolts or hammers, and we spend a lot of time climbing ladders to find them. The storefront faces the street, and there’s always a crowd outside. Pitam Pura is a busy neighborhood, so there is never a quiet moment. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the building has some character to it, which is a nice way of saying it’s old. We don’t really do marketing or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign or someone told them we had what they needed. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and counting stock. The air is always a bit dusty from all the metal and wood tools sitting on the shelves. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in with a list of things they need for their own projects. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
