We've been over here at Vardhman Grand Plaza for a while now, right behind the Kali Mata Mandir in Rohini Sector 3. It's a busy spot but we like it. Most people around here know us for the rice we trade. We deal with different types, mostly in bulk, and we spend a lot of our time checking bags and making sure the trucks get loaded properly. My brother and I started this because we knew a lot about the grain markets from our father. It’s not fancy work at all. We spend most of the day on the phone or talking to people who drop by the office. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the sacks moving around, but that's just part of the job. If you’re looking for us, just head to Mangalam Place and go around the back of the temple. The office isn't huge, but it's where everything happens. We handle all the paperwork and keep track of who needs what. Dealing with rice means you have to watch the seasons and the prices really carefully. Some days are slow and others we can barely keep up with the orders coming in. We just try to get the right grain to the right place without too much fuss. It's just a regular business, nothing too complicated. We’ve stayed in this same spot for a long time because it works for us and the people we supply.
