Our place is located on the Madhuban Chowk Begampur Karala Road. It’s a bit out of the way if you aren't looking for it, but the trucks find us easily enough. We deal with a lot of machinery here. The sound of the crushers is something you just get used to after a week or two. It’s a dusty job, and we all wear boots because the floor is never really clean. We handle different food products throughout the year depending on what’s coming in. The office is just a small room with a desk and some old files, nothing fancy at all. We spend most of our time out on the floor making sure the machines are running right. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves usually. The road outside is always busy with traffic going toward Karala. We get our tea from the local stall down the road twice a day. It’s a long day, usually starting before eight. We aren't a big corporation despite the name, just a bunch of people working hard in a warehouse. Sometimes the rain makes the road messy, which slows everything down. We just keep at it though. The air smells like grains and dust most of the time. It’s practical work. We’ve been here at Madhuban Chowk for a long time and we know the rhythms of the road and the local workers around us.
