Our place is at House No 24 in the A Block of Jagatpuri Mig Flats. It isn’t a big storefront with neon lights. It is more of a practical setup where we keep everything organized on shelves. If you walk in, you’ll mostly see boxes and metal parts everywhere. We have been here in Jagatpuri for a good amount of time and the neighbors know us. The morning routine is usually opening up the shutters and checking what needs to be sent out. It gets a bit crowded inside when new stock arrives. We have all sorts of tools lying around. Some are heavy and some are small enough to fit in a pocket. It can get a bit dusty because of the nature of the items, but that’s just how a tool place is. People from the nearby flats often stop by just to ask if we have a specific wrench or a hammer. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If someone asks for a specific part, we usually have to climb a small ladder to find it. The Mig Flats area is usually busy with people going to work. We just stay here and handle the orders. It’s a simple business. No one wears suits here. We just wear what is comfortable for moving boxes around all day long.
