Shri Hari Nursery & Farm

Shri Hari Nursery & Farm is tucked away at GD-25 in Pitampura, and if you aren’t looking for it, you might walk right past the gate near Madhuban Chowk. We’ve been here for a good while, and most of the locals know us by now. It’s not one of those massive garden centers you see in catalogs. It’s just our little plot where we try to keep a variety of plants alive and healthy. To be honest, it’s a lot of work, and my boots are always covered in mud. We spend most of the day watering, pruning, and figuring out why certain shrubs aren't thriving. It’s a bit messy, with pots piled up in the corners and bags of soil everywhere, but that’s how a working nursery looks. We don't have any fancy sales speeches. If someone comes in asking for a plant that won't survive on their balcony, we tell them straight out. It’s just a better way to do things. The noise from the traffic at the Chowk can be a bit much sometimes, but when you're back among the trees, it's actually pretty peaceful. We’re just a small team of people who like working with the earth and seeing things grow. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the plants we sell actually grow well for the people who take them home to their own gardens.
