Our place, Shah Dwarkadas Jivraj Mewawala, is located right at Ag-21 in Shalimar Bagh. Being on the Main Ring Road means there is always a lot of noise from the cars and trucks passing by, but it helps people find us easily enough. We’ve been here for a long time, just doing what we do every day without much fuss. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have in Shalimar Bagh. We spend a lot of time sorting through things and making sure everything looks right on the shelves for anyone who walks in. It’s a family-style environment here, where everyone knows their job and just gets on with it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us at Ag-21, opening up in the morning and seeing who stops by. Sometimes the Main Ring Road gets so backed up with traffic that we just watch the cars crawl while we work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. We focus on the practical side of things, like keeping the inventory straight and making sure the floor is clean. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We aren't looking for anything flashy, just a steady day of work at the shop. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us since we first set up here. It feels good to have that connection.
