Our place is located at 42 Rohini. It is a bit of a cramped spot sometimes because we have a lot of stuff coming in and going out every day. United Foods is basically just a group of us who have been working with food processing for a while. We do not have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting you. Usually, you will just find someone in an apron or a hairnet walking around the warehouse area. The air inside always smells like whatever we are packing that day, sometimes it is sweet and other times it is just plain flour smell. We spend most of our time checking the seals on bags or making sure the temperature in the storage area is where it should be. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. The neighborhood around Rohini is always full of people, so getting the delivery vans parked can be a real headache some mornings. We have a small desk near the front where we keep all the paperwork. It is usually covered in delivery notes and pens that do not work. We just do our thing here and try to get the orders out to the shops before they close. It is a simple operation and we like it that way because we do not have to deal with too much corporate nonsense.
