Reeta Homoeopathic Clinic

Shalimar Bagh is a busy place, especially with the railway crossing right there. We are over at Bb-93A in the East Shalimar Bagh section. You can see the Kela Godam road from near the clinic, so there is always a lot of movement and trucks carrying fruit around. Our clinic is quite modest. We have these rows of small glass bottles filled with white pills. If you walk in, you’ll probably smell that faint, sweet scent of the sugar pellets we use for everything. It’s not a large space, just enough for a few people to sit and wait their turn. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their long-term aches or those coughs that just won't go away. Homeopathy takes some patience, so the people who come here usually aren't in a massive rush. We check the tongue, ask about sleep, and try to figure out which remedy fits the person. Sometimes the train whistle is so loud we have to pause for a second before continuing the conversation. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up the shelves just fine. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us making sure the bottles are labeled and the register is correct. It’s a local spot where neighbors stop by to chat. We aren't trying to be a corporate hospital; we just keep the doors open and help whoever walks in from the street with their health problems.
