We've been at Plot No. C-49 on Lawrence Road for quite a while now. It's a busy industrial spot and most days start pretty early here because that's just how the food industry works. We handle a lot of different things, mostly focused on getting products out the door and keeping the machinery running right. Sometimes it gets a bit loud in the facility, but you get used to it after a week or two. My uncle started this place and we just kept it going. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a solid brick building where we do our daily work. People around here know us for being consistent. We don’t really do much advertising. Most of our partners have been with us for years. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks like packing and making sure the inventory is where it needs to be. Sometimes the trucks get backed up on Lawrence Road, which is a big headache, but that’s part of being in this area. We have a small crew, maybe a dozen people on a good day. Everyone knows what they're doing and we don't have to talk much to get the job done. We just keep our heads down and try to do things the right way without a lot of fuss. It's not glamorous work, but it pays the bills and keeps the local supply moving. If you walk past C-49, you’ll probably hear the sound of the loading dock. That’s pretty much us.
