Pawan Gupta

This is Pawan Gupta’s place over at E-98 in Krishan Vihar. If you know New Delhi, you know this area is pretty packed with houses and small shops. I’ve been operating from here for a while. It’s not a fancy office by any means. It’s a practical space where I can focus on getting the work done. I deal with a lot of local requests. Most of the time, I am just busy with paperwork or making calls to get things sorted out. Krishan Vihar is a busy neighborhood, so there is always noise from the street, but I’ve gotten used to it over the years. I don’t use any big marketing tricks. I think people appreciate that I just tell them how it is. Sometimes things go wrong or get delayed, and I just explain that to them. There is no point in hiding facts. I try to be as helpful as I can. My neighbors often drop by for a chat or to ask for advice. It makes the workday go by faster. I don’t have a large team, just a few people I trust to help out when things get too busy. We work hard and try to stay organized. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need. I hope to keep doing this for a long time without making things too complicated for myself. The desk I use is old, and the chair squeaks, but it’s where all the decisions happen. It feels like home because it basically is. I just try to stay focused and keep moving forward.
