Our setup is at B-33 on Lawrence Road in the industrial area. It’s a typical industrial unit, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we handle various technology and systems projects. We have some workbenches for assembly and a few computers for the technical side of things. Lawrence Road is always jammed with traffic, so we’ve learned to plan our pickups and deliveries around the busiest times. We aren't a huge company with layers of management. There’s just a few of us here, and we all pitch in wherever we are needed. Sometimes that means packing boxes and other times it means troubleshooting a software glitch. The building is a bit old and the roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but we’ve got our equipment covered up. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just tell people what we do and let the work speak for itself. Most of our days are spent just trying to stay on top of the orders. We have a kettle for making tea and that’s about the extent of our employee perks. It’s a basic, functional environment where we can focus on what we are building. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now and it serves us well enough for the kind of work we do.
