Jay Dee Exports

Jay Dee Exports is located right in the middle of the Industrial Area at A/35, G. T. Karnal Road. It’s a noisy place with trucks passing by all the time, but it suits what we do. We’ve been operating from this building for a long time. The gates are usually open early in the morning so the staff can get started. We don’t have much in the way of decoration here. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy managing the shipments and checking the quality of what goes out. It gets dusty because of the main road, so we are always wiping down the desks. Most of our day is spent on the phone or walking around the floor to see how things are moving. It’s an industrial spot, so don't expect a lounge or anything soft. We have a couple of fans that stay on all day during the summer. We deal with a lot of paperwork and containers. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or use the backup. It’s a practical environment. We know the other business owners on this stretch of G. T. Karnal Road pretty well. We see each other at the tea stall nearby. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know.
